Upgrade your Cogent shock with this simple device, the Needle Thrust Bearing. This optional bearing is installed between your shock spring and the adjuster collar which allows for lower rotating force when you manually adjust your spring preload (to compensate for load variations) and allows the spring to work better by letting is “slip” at lower friction which reduces the twisting forces that a coil spring generates when being compressed.
